My mammie gave me this idea, and I put it on a bun.
Ingredients:
- 4 cans tuna (in water)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- chopped green onion
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- salt & pepper
- paprika
- parsley flakes
- juice of a lemon
- oil for frying
Ingredients for sauce:
- Mayo
- mustard
- Lemon juice
- relish or diced pickles
- splash of pickle juice
- garlic powder, salt & pepper, paprika, red pepper flakes
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients for tuna mixture together. Form patties.
- Heat a skillet with some oil and fry on both sides until golden brown.
- Mix together sauce ingredients. Taste and adjust as needed.
- On a bun, add a spoonful of sauce on the bottom bun. Add patty to bun and add a big spoonful of sauce on top of the patty. Add top bun and serve.
