This Hawaiian Mac Salad will take you to the Island. I think, idk, I've never been.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. elbow noodles
- 1 white onion shredded
- 3 carrots peeled & shredded
- 2 cups mayo
- 3 tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbs. sugar
- salt & pepper
Directions:
- Cook elbow noodles until done.
- Shred/grate the onion and carrot. put each vegetable in its own bowl. They go in at different times.
- Strain noodles and add to a large bowl, then add the apple cider vinegar and onions to them. Stir well.
- Let those cool completely before adding anything else.
- Mix together mayo, milk, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Once noodles are cooled completely add in the mayo and carrots. Stir very well. Add salt & pepper to taste.
- Cover the bowl and set in refrigerator until ready to serve up.
