Danni's Hawaiian Mac Salad

This Hawaiian Mac Salad will take you to the Island. I think, idk, I've never been. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. elbow noodles
  • 1 white onion shredded
  • 3 carrots peeled & shredded
  • 2 cups mayo
  • 3 tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbs. sugar
  • salt & pepper

Directions:

  1. Cook elbow noodles until done.
  2. Shred/grate the onion and carrot. put each vegetable in its own bowl. They go in at different times.
  3. Strain noodles and add to a large bowl, then add the apple cider vinegar and onions to them. Stir well. 
  4. Let those cool completely before adding anything else.
  5. Mix together mayo, milk, sugar, salt and pepper. 
  6. Once noodles are cooled completely add in the mayo and carrots. Stir very well. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  7. Cover the bowl and set in refrigerator until ready to serve up.
