Danni's Creamy Chicken Soup

Soup Season goes on for forever. Get your straw. 😂 

Ingredients:

  • 2 - 2.5 lbs. Chicken breast (skinless)
  • 1 packet dry Ranch Seasoning 
  • 1 can condensed Cream of Chicken soup
  • 3 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 - 2 tbs chicken bouillon 
  • 1 packet chicken gravy 
  • whole garlic cloves
  • 2 potatoes; chunky chops
  • 3 -4 celery stalks; thinly chopped
  • carrots; chopped 
  • white onion; chunky chops
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, onion powder, paprika

Directions:

  1. In a crockpot, add ranch packet, chicken soup, chicken bouillon, seasonings and water (or chicken broth). Whisk together well and turn the crockpot on High or Low so it starts to warm up.
  2. Place chicken in crockpot, make sure there's enough liquid to submerge the chicken. 
  3. Add in the onions and garlic. Cover and let it cook for an hour on High or 2 hours on low.
  4. After 1 or 2 hours, add in the other vegetables. Stir in to make sure they're all going to cook together.
  5. Cover and cook for 4 hours on High or 7 hours on Low. Stir when you want to.
  6. The chicken should shred itself while you've stirred the soup a few times, or 10. 
  7. When there's 30 minutes left of cook time, add the packet of gravy powder to the crockpot and stir until dissolved. Cover and cook for the remaining time.
  8. Serve either alone, with rice or a dinner roll. Or, all 3.
