Danni's Garlic (Pizza) Sauce

When you hit 30 and you can't have red sauce anymore..Here's the delicious alternative.  

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • minced garlic (a ton)
  • dried oregano 
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 2-3 tbs flour
  • 1 1/2 cup half n half
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in skillet on medium - high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 2 - 3 minutes. 
  3. Add flour (start with 2 tbs), oregano, pepper and salt. Whisk well.
  4. Add the Half & Half, all at once and whisking while doing so. 
  5. Cook and stir until bubbly and thickened. 
  6. Add a bit of Parmesan cheese, stir and turn off heat.
