Danni's Banana Bread Brownies

Heaven in a 9x13. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temp
  • 2 eggs, room temp
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 3 tbs. milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix together sugar, sour cream, softened butter and eggs. Mix well.
  3. Add mashed Bananas and vanilla extract. Mix well again.
  4. Add flour, baking soda and salt to the bater. Mix well. 
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. Until ready. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
  6. Let cool slightly while making the frosting.
  7. In saucepan, melt butter and heat until a light brown color. Turn off heat.
  8. Add 1 cup at a time of powdered sugar and stir after each cup. 
  9. Add milk and vanilla extract to the powdered sugar mixture. Mix well. 
  10. Pour frosting over brownies and spread evenly.
  11. Let cool completely. Slice and enjoy.
