These literally melt in your mouth, one after another.
Ingredients:
- 1 cheesecake (store bought or homedid)
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Chocolate sauce or a berry sauce for optional topping
Directions:
- Cut cheesecake into bite size pieces and freeze them for at least one hour. Longer is better though!
- In a medium bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- In a different bowl mix together the wet ingredients, the milk and egg. Gradually add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, stir while doing so to form a batter.
- In a deep fryer or saucepan add vegetable oil and heat to 350 degrees.
- Dip each piece cheesecake into the batter, turning and flipping to make sure it is covered on all sides.
- Carefully place the coated cheesecake into the HOT OIL. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on a rack or paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
- Optional but you definitely should add chocolate sauce ass a topping or side dip.
