Tuna, Turkey or Roast Beef, melts are the way to go.
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of bread Danni's (take on) White Loaf Bread
- 3 cans tuna (in water)
- sliced mozzarella
- mayo and mustard
- onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper
- cayenne pepper, smoked paprika
- butter for cooking & spreading 😉
Directions:
- Drain tuna and dump into medium sized bowl.
- Add a few tablespoons of mayonnaise and a large squirt of mustard. Mix well. Then add in each seasoning, maybe 1 tsp each. Mix well. TASTE. Add what you need to.
- Slice bread, 2 per sandwich. Butter one side of each piece of bread. Lay down a piece of buttered bread, buttered side down, in a heated and also buttered skillet.
- Add a couple of hefty scoops of tuna onto the bread, spread evenly, add a slice of cheese and top with the other piece of bread, butter side up. Give a good press also.
- Cook for 2 minutes on each side or until crispy golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.
