Save the buns for hot dogs from now on.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- regular waffles, 2 per
- sliced cheddar cheese
- sliced tomato
- 1 egg
- breadcrumbs
- squirt of ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard
- Burger seasonings; Cumin, salt, pepper, smokey paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, minced onion seasoning
- mayonnaise, ketchup & mustard for topping
Directions:
- In large mixing bowl add beef, 1 egg, 1/2 cup (or more) breadcrumbs, a squirt of ketchup, mustard and bbq sauce. Mix well and then add seasonings and mix again. Roll into palm size balls, about 6-8.
- In large skillet on medium high heat, add a ball of beef and press down with spatula and a piece of parchment paper. Smash it down well. Remove paper and continue to cook to your liking.
- Once flipped over, add a slice of cheddar cheese and baste the burger with grease from the skillet. Remove once done.
- Toast 2 waffles, add a layer of mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard to both. Add burger and a slice of tomato and top with other waffle.
- Serve immediately.
